The North Star Spirits Periodical series is an irregular, limited-release range of independent whiskies bottled by Glasgow-based North Star Spirits.
Created by founder Iain Croucher to bottle low-yielding casks, leftovers from larger batches, or “thirsty angel” leftovers, which are released on an occasional basis.
Bottled in distinctive, old-style 500ml medicine bottles with a retro aesthetic and always bottled at 50% ABV and, at the time of release, generally retailed for £50.
Due to the nature of the small scale bottling, most of these have been consumed over the years and the series appears to no longer run. We have collected 5 from the Periodical series to try for this unique tasting.
