By the Glass
In addition we will have a selection of wines available by the glass from Corsica and Sardinia.
The delicious Clos Venturi Rosé, made from 100% Sciaccarellu, is bright and fruit-driven, while the ‘Brama’ Biancu Gentile, lees-aged for 11 months in egg-shaped concrete tanks, is richly textured and bursting with tropical fruit notes.
Domaine Vico, `Le Bois du Cerf` Rouge, 50% Niellucciu and 50% Sciaccarellu two grapes that produce an aromatic wine of red and black cherries, herbs and dried rose. Dense but juicy, with flavours of spice and rosemary.
Sardinia renowned the world over for its Vermentino, grown on the hillsides and the plains close to the village of Mogoro, in the Alta Marmilla sub-region of southern Sardinia. The soils are calcareous, loose and deep producing highly aromatic wines that display excellent concentration of flavours.
